16. St. Louis Rams (7-8-1) Kenny Vaccaro -SS from Texas
The Rams have a huge need at safety and will be thrilled to see the draft’s best safety fall into their laps.
17. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-8) Jarvis Jones -OLB from Georgia
With the departure of James Harrison the Steelers need a new play making OLB to pressure the QB. Jarvis Jones may turn out to be a steal at this point in the draft.
18. Dallas Cowboys (8-8) Chance Warmack -OG from Alabama
The Cowboys desperately need to fix their offensive line issues. As it stands the only have on highly graded lineman in OT Tyron Smith. They’re guards were so bad they didn’t have a 1000 yard rusher. They get their big chance in the powerful Warmack.
19. New York Giants (9-7) Tyler Eifert -TE from Notre Dame
After losing Martellus Bennett to free agency the Giants get the highly touted Eifert. Eli Manning loves to throw to his tight ends.
20. Chicago Bears (10-6) Alec Ogletree –ILB from Georgia
After letting go of the great Brian Urlacher the Bears will seek his replacement in Alec Ogletree. The Bears, never a team to shy away from players with off field issues will not be discouraged by Ogletree’s past.
21. Cincinnati Bengals (10-6) Xavier Rhodes -CB from Florida State
Having former cast off CBs Adam Jones and Terence Newman as your starters is not a good thing. Rhodes is a steal at the 21st pick and the Bengals would be crazy not to draft him.
22. St. Louis Rams (7-6-1) (via Washington) Keenan Allen -WR from California
After losing their top receiver Danny Amendola to the Patriots the Rams need to get their QB Sam Bradford a new talented receiver to throw to.
23. San Diego Chargers (7-9) via Minnesota -Menelik Watson -OT from Florida State
After moving down 12 spots in a trade with the Vikings the Ram add extra picks in the following rounds while still getting a talented offensive tackle to protect QB Phillip Rivers.
24. Indianapolis Colts (11-5) Desmond Trufant -CB from Washington
The Colts desperately need a corner to help their pass defense and luckily for them there’s no shortage in talented corners in this draft.
25. Minnesota Vikings (10-6) (via Seattle) Kawann Short -DT from Purdue
With the retirement of Vikings defensive tackle Pat Williams they will need to replace the hole left by such a gifted player.
26. Green Bay Packers (11-5) Bjoern Werner -DE from Florida State
The Packers need a pass rusher to line up across from OLB Clay Mathews to draw the double teams off him. Werner was a very productive DE at Florida State and should be able to give them what they need as a 3-4 OLB.
27. HoustonTexans (12-4) Justin Hunter -WR from Tennessee
The Texans need to take some of the attention off their star receiver Andre Johnson and give Matt Schaub another play-maker to throw the ball to.
28. Denver Broncos (13-3) Datone Jones -DE from UCLA
After basically losing one of their star OLBs Elvis Dumervil to free agency due to a faulty fax machine the Broncos are now in great need of a pass rusher to line up across from Von Miller.
29.
(12-4) DeAndre Hopkins -WR from Clemson
New England lost Tom Brady’s favorite target Wes Welker to free agency and Tom wasn’t happy about it. Maybe if the get him a new playmaking receiver in the 1st round he’ll forgive them. They certainly have shown interest in DeAndre Hopkins.
30. Atlanta Falcons (13-3) Cornellius Carradine -DE from Florida State
The Falcons are yet another team that lost one of their best pass rushers to free agency. Luckily there should be some good ones waiting for them at the end of the 1st round.
31. San Francisco 49ers (11-4-1) Jonathan Cyprien –SS from Florida International
San Francisco has very few holes in their defense but after losing their top free safety to free agency this is a spot the definitely need to fill.
32. Baltimore Ravens (10-6) -Arthur Brown –ILB from Kansas State
The great Ray Lewis retired this year going out on top and now the Ravens have some very big shoes to fill at inside linebacker.
