A Tribute to Dad Anslem

Dearest dad, how are you?
How have you been this year?
It hasn’t been the same at home
Without your presence here.

Do you look down upon us 
From heaven’s glorious grace?
See every tear and heartache -
Our wish to see your face?

This year has been but sorrow
We see your smile no more
And yet upon reflection
We feel your closeness near.

Your legacy lives on in us -
Your memory to stay
As God comforts with promises
We’ll meet again someday.

This is a tribute to my father-in-law Anslem Dcosta, on his First Death Anniversary.  He passed away on May 13, 2016.
